Local media reports indicate that several prominent individuals were aboard the ill-fated flight, including former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. His presence on the flight was later confirmed by Union Ministers CR Paatil and Rammohan Naidu.
Also believed to be aboard were two noted industrialists from Gujarat. Pramukh Nanda, founder of Cargo Motors Group, was listed among the passengers, along with his wife Neha Pramukh Nanda and son Prayas Pramukh Nanda. Cargo Motors Group is a major auto dealership and transport company in Western India.
Subhash Amin, director of Luby Motors and a leading figure in Gujarat’s business community, was also reportedly onboard.
According to News18 Hindi, the passenger list includes four residents from Udaipur: Shubh and Shagun Modi, children of local marble businessman Pinku Modi, and Vardi Chand Menaria and Prakash Menaria from Rundeda village. Shubh (24) and Shagun (22), both MBA graduates, were assisting their father in his business and were headed to London for a trip. The Menaria family members are said to be chefs returning to work in the UK.
Another passenger was identified as Khushboo Kanwar from Araba Dudawata village in Balotra district. She was travelling to London to reunite with her husband, Dr Vipul Singh Rajpurohit, for the first time after their marriage, News18 Hindi reported.
Authorities have yet to confirm the condition of the passengers. Official identification is expected once family members are informed and standard protocols are followed.
